Housingfirst.fi is a webpage which serves as a tool for the development process in the Name on the door project during the years 2010-2012. Outputs of the project and materials related to the housing first principle are gathered to the website which will eventually work as a free online database for everyone interested in and working with the housing first principle. The site is divided into two main categories which are on the navigation bar: Homelessness in Finland and Housing first in Finland. As seen on the Graph 1. these represent the two key elements of the Name on the door project. Towards home (in Finnish kohti kotia) is a process consisting of 48 network meetings and of a continuous writing process between the cooperating partners of the Name on the door research project during the years 2010-2012. Key elements of the project are pictured below.

Housing first in Finland

The housing first principle, originating from the U.S., works as a theoretical framework for the development and research done in the Name on the door project. The aim is to, until the end of the project, outline whether there is a specific Finnish housing first model and what does it encompass. The question "How will this model be applied in the Finnish homeless services" is sought to be answered through separate development projects and Name on the door project's different development themes.
